Today, in the Redeemer's University Chapel, the chaplain, pastor Olugbenga Akosile, re-emphasised the desire of the school to raise entrepreneurs. But in my own little assessment, i feel the school is very skeptical about which level the entrepreneurial students can get to.
so far so good, the school has taken care of and absorbed those deals that do not really involve their purse or, like wise investors, they are very careful about putting in large sum of money into the hands of students.
The students who bid for the wireless installation were turned down. The vice chancellor was quoted in Run chronicle as saying "...since they are students, they need to face their books...". That was really a fatherly advice form the number one man of the school.
Basically entrepreneurship involving Information Technology runs into millions, in terms of cost. If that be the case all I.T. student entrepreneurs should never expect anything from the school.
The students involved have refused to comment about this issue in public. Maybe they are facing their books.
I rest my case here.
