first parliament meeting

The first parliamentary meeting of the Redeemer's University Student's Association took place today. News reaching us stated that the meeting was not a success because some of the legislators argued that they had lectures or they were held up in traffic or one excuse or the other was just given for their absence.

This according to Mr. Uzo, s not a welcome developement for a first sitting.
Lets watch and see how they fare along the way.

hollidays are here

The students of Redeemers University will be leaving for the christmas holls on the 6th of December 2007. The school sent a memo to this effect stating that is compulsory for all students to leave on the said day. This development is to vacate the hostels for the mission which will be having its annual congress tagged "THE NEXT LEVEL" on monday 10th December 2007.

Already, there has been alot of hustling and bustling with so many cars parking in front of the hostels to pick their wardings / children.

for the 300level natural science students, the hollidays are not really for jollying since they would be commencing their exams on 10th of January 2008.

The school is already getting empty, and im very certain that by frida, a pin dropped to the ground will produce a very loud echo.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year in advance

...and he emerged the president

And so it happened. Deji Adeyemi emerged the president of the Redeemers University students Association. He emerged above all obstacles and made a head way in a keenly contested election with Idowu Oloruntoba. Different opinions and beliefs from different people. Some people believe that Idowu is a better choice because of his communication skills, while others believe Deji rightly deserved his victory as what we need in RUN is a calm and collected person.
However, contrary to the wishes of some people, Deji has emerged the President of RUNSA.
