The Redeemer's University community is about to kick off with its students' association. In this development, the university has constituted an electoral commission (like I.N.E.C.), to take care of the process of ensuring that the elections go on smoothly and peacefully. The commission was inaugurated on Wednesday and i am sure they have kicked off to ensuring a smooth transfer.
The Redeemer's University Electorial Commission (R.U.N.S.A.E.C.) members were elected by the students in a very free and fair election process. There were several contestants from the various electoral units which are prophet moses hall, queen esther hall, the three colleges (natural science, management science and humanities), and the chapel The contestants from prophet Moses hall were Tunde Olaniyi, Jimi Fasheke and Ofure, with Tunde emerging victorious; contestants from Queen Esther hall were Obehi Itua and Tomiwa, Obehi took the day; contestants from Natural Sciences were Olufemi Oshikoya and Seun Oluwadare, Seun won with a margin of just two votes. From management sciences we had Charles Anaekwe as the sole contestant, from the chapel came Daniel Owo, Simioluwa and Mosugo Jacob, with Jacob emerging victorious with above a hundred votes and Daniel Owo emrging third place with less than fifty votes.
Coincidentally, the three of the victors are from the behavioral sciences. I think its a good improvement. They would teach us how to behave during elections.
Run blog is wishing you all happy electioneering. Please avoid the Moris Iwu Palava.
